   I had a dream catcher necklace when I was younger and from the time I put it on I stopped having dreams, then one day I forgot to put it back on and I had the longest, strangest dream ever, it was as if all the dreams had been stored up and then released in one night.
   
   I think they work if you believe they will, it's probably your belief in them that causes an effect... of whatever sort.
   
   Nightmares can be interesting, you could write a hub about them.

   Dream catchers are a fairly new phenomenon, designed by the Chippewa tribe during the 1960’s.  However since then they have been adopted by many different Native American tribes as a symbol of united among the Indian Nations.   
   
   Operationally The Chippewa believe that the dream catcher can change a person's dreams by allowing only good dreams would be allowed to filter through and  bad dreams would be caught in the net, disappearing with the light of day.
   
   So technically the answer to your question is if you accept and believe the true nature of a dream catcher then it cannot be the source of your bad dreams.
   
   Unless of course you set it  up upside down or back to front !

   No..dream catchers don't work...they bring evil spirits into your home..and these spirits are responsible for your nightmares...almost like mind controlling..

   I agree with Marliza on this one.
   You invited the evil spirits in with the dream catcher. Get rid of it and tell everything invited in with it to leave in Jesus name.
   I have had demons, evil spirits and the such enter in my house when someone or myself brought anything linked to false religion, the occult, candle stick holders with an 8 point star on the bottom, and etc. But they all left once I got rid of the item, and if it would burn I would burn it. You are not to get into fear over this stuff but be wise. Anything that isn't relying on the protection of God, through Jesus Christ is a counterfeit and will not help.
   God is the one who can and will deliver you from all harm and give you the wisdom to recognize darkness and evil to keep you safe.
   In God's word it says if we touch what is cursed we will be cursed. So we learn by trial and error with this at times but God forgives it in Jesus name and restores us.

   I think that sometimes they work, but not because of the dream catcher. They work because you feel safe with it in your room.

       u should also try wetting it and rubbing salt on it to cleanse it just remember to wash your hands before u do it so as not to tate the salt

    I dare say when you bought the dream catcher is when you sub-consciously began thinking about bad dreams (as that is the primary myth) and as we know dreams are our brains pulling together both conscious and sub-conscious thoughts hence not so coincidental bad dreams.
