Michael Jackson
Michael Jackson

Michael Jackson was and always will be a true legend and it is safe to say that he has changed the world over on more than one occasion with his music. Throughout his career he has made some of the most influential albums in the music industry but at the same time he has been plagued by many child abuse allegations making him one the most controversially talked about people on the planet. Michael Jackson has been in the media a lot throughout his lifetime, not only for his music but also for his weird and eccentric ways of life. He had become a some what obsession with the media, as they worshiped him in someway's but also despised him in others. The media have at many times been very cruel to Michael and I believe it is them who are responsible for pushing him to fake his own death.

Now I don't say this flippantly, and I do not intend to be cruel like the media, I am speaking only as a life long fan who never once believed the child abuse allegations Michael was accused of, and maybe I am wrong but I think that people should at least give it some thought and careful consideration to what I have to say and what I strongly believe. Long before Michael Jackson had been reported dead, I was very concerned about Michael's welfare and I know many others too who had this same feeling that something wasn't right. Michael Jackson had been reclusive for the last 4 years before his death, he had not performed or been in the limelight for many years. When he came out on March 5, 2009 at the 02 Arena and announced that he would be performing a ten day tour and the rumours started that he was to earn about £50 million from these 10 dates, I know for many, especially the hardcore fans that they were happy for him and happy for themselves of course, but there were many people like myself that were not so happy as we could hear the bells ringing and felt very strongly that something was wrong. We knew that Michael was in debt and we knew that he would have done anything and said anything to get his hands on £50 million.

Michael announced the dates of his tour and didn't say very much apart from "This is it", when I saw him announce these dates he looked very frail and very weak and my main concerns were for his health, I remember thinking to myself, is he capable of doing ten dates, I know that Michael has this inner strength and can perform amazingly at any time but to do 10 dates after such a long absence made me become very suspicious of him and I didn't know why. It was when it was announced on March 11 that there would be 40 more dates added to his tour that I realised that something was really not right. Within 6 days he had decided on adding 40 more dates to his schedule? This was not the preparation of a logic man and to even consider taking money from people for 50 concerts before he had even performed one I believe was either very foolish or very cleverly planned. Michael had lost most of the money that he had earned throughout his lifetime and was nearly broke, I strongly believe that he had no intention right from the start of performing these dates, and when he added the other 40 dates to his tour this only confirmed it for me.

A friend of mine bought a ticket for Michael's tour and I remember telling him not to hold his breath, I explained to my friend that I had this strong feeling that Michael would not actually be performing at all and was only desperate for the money, I remember thinking that Michael was planning on letting his fans down because Michael felt that his fans had let him down over the years. It wasn't the 50 dates that Michael was focusing on, I believe it was the estimated 300 million that he was going to earn from the tour that motivated Michael, this would have paid of his debts, and set him up for the rest of his life in the luxury life style that he was accustomed to. I believe that he talked his family and close friends into agreeing with him on faking his own death and I believe that they agreed to a cover up. Michael had two choices, either go bankrupt or con the world for millions which would easily buy him a secluded island to live the rest of his life away from the public eye, and I believe Michael who loved his privacy would have chosen the latter.

I also believe it not to be a coincidence that Michael had completed the "This is it" tour DVD for people to purchase that would also bring him in millions and I believe that the media and the public have given Michael no choice but to fake his death so he can have the peaceful and happy life that he deserves. If I am wrong then I apologize to the Jackson family, but if I am right, then good on you Michael Jackson, I am happy that you got out before the media had the chance to destroy you completely. I will always think of Michael as a great entertainer but firstly I will always think of him as a victim in this world and the way the media tried to destroy him was much like a modern day crucifixion. I believe that the "This is it" tour was the biggest con the world has ever experienced and that Michael deserved to exact this one off revenge on the world that helped build him and then destroy him. Some of the money that people had spent purchasing the tickets for his tour was refunded but many people did not get a refund and decided to keep the tickets as souvenirs which is exactly what Michael was hoping for, with around 90% of the sales going to the Jackson estate. I think that people are very gullible to believe Michael died just weeks before his first concert and I believe Michael is not dead but living a quiet peaceful life that he deserves on one of the many isolated islands that are owned by the rich and famous.

Whether pronounced dead or faked death, it is still a tragic end to a remarkable performer. May he be at peace wherever he is.

Very true, Michael Jackson was the most remarkable performer that the world had ever seen, dead or alive, it is sad to think that he will not be creating music for us any more.
