The London Eye

London Is and always has been one of the top tourist destinations in the world. To visit the capital and not watch it from above would be indeed criminal to yourself as it would be to visit Cairo and not venture into the Pyramids. London is beautiful, but to watch it from above is truly magnificent. The London Eye will set you back around £18 for one adult and around £12 for a child, although children under 4 get to go free. You can however buy a family ticket for about £52.

The flight lasts around 30 minutes and the pod that you travel in can hold around 20 people easily but they usually put around 5-10 people in them to give people more room to manoeuvre. From above you can enjoy the views of Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament, St. Paul’s Cathedral, Buckingham Palace and Westminster Abbey. You can watch the River Thames below and take in the capital in all its glory.
