The Best Camera In The World The Nikon D60 Digital SLR Camera
By alfredfox
The Nikon D 60 Digital SLR Camera is the best camera that I have ever bought in my life by far, I have bought many cameras in the past and some for more value than the Nikon D 60, but the Nikon D 60 is the only camera that I have ever bought that has never given me any problems and has lived way beyond my expectations. I have owned a few cameras to say the least and have owned a few Nikon cameras before also, but the Nikon D 60 is truly the best that I have owned, it is a wonderful camera and I take it everywhere with me.
The camera's shape is designed to fit your hand naturally and comfortably, when you grip the camera you will know what I mean. The camera is 10.2 megapixels which means that you can print your photos to large poster size without losing any quality. This is great for me because I like to print my pictures nothing less than 8 x 10 inches. There is nothing worse than capturing an amazing shot and only being able to print it the normal standard size. When you take a really good shot you want to be able to have it enlarged so you can show it off, and that's exactly what the Nikon D 60 allows you to do.
The camera offers a whole bundle of features, such as an "Airflow Control System" that protects the camera against dust, "Active D-Lighting" which helps with taking a picture in very difficult lighting, a quick 19 second power up, which means the second you want to capture a picture, you only have to turn the camera on and within 19 seconds your snapping away, however the camera states that it is 19 seconds but I find it to be more closer to 10 seconds. The camera has a fast continuous shooting mode which lets you take around 3 photos per second, now that's what I call fast. However I tend not to use this as the photos come out a little blurry and only really works when the camera is on a tripod, but if you have a steady hand then it may work for you.
The camera boasts a large 2.5 inch LCD monitor which turns of automatically when you look through the viewfinder, due to the cameras integrated eye sensor. This comes in really handy when you need to take a quick snap. One of the best things about this camera is the battery life, it only takes around 20 minutes to charge the battery to its full capacity and that will last you for at least 500 shots, the battery will stay charged for months until you have taken 500 shots and then a simple 20 minute charge and your set to go again. You get the battery and charger with the Nikon D 60 so you will never have to pay for batteries.
The camera uses SD memory cards and SDHC cards which can be bought on Amazon.com for only a few pounds. Never spend £20 on a memory card like the top supermarkets for instance ask you to, an SD memory card can be bought online for sometimes as little as £2 each for a 1 G card that can hold around 800 photos and about £5 for a 2 G card that can hold around 1600 photos. I have always bought mine from Amazon or Ebay for only a few pounds and the quality of them is just as good as the quality of the expensive ones.
The camera comes with a built in flash and comes with an 18-55 lens that is great for wide shots, I also bought a second lens with the camera, a 55-200 lens which is great for long distances. My Nikon D 60 has been with me everywhere, in the last few years I have brought it with me to Texas, Egypt, Portugal and Scotland and it has had its fair share of tumbles and falls, but the camera remains in perfect condition and like I said earlier, it has never let me down.

I have to buy a new camera, but still listen to advice. I cannot yet decide between Nikon and Canon. I will keep your praise in mind.
